Flat feet shoes in Dubai
Shoes for flatfeet correction is a very old and traditional method of treating flat feet. With today’s technology most flatfeet can be corrected within 1 to 2 years and wearing normal shoes.
With modern day materials the foot arches can be raised and the ankle can become straight using materials less than 1 mm in thickness. This has been very helpful in the treatment of flatfeet which means that the patient can wear normal shoes instead of medical shoes.
The cast of the foot is taken to make a mould and then a customer medical prescribed orthotics is made to fit inside regular shoes that starts to correct the foot usually the patient may need between 3 to 6 pairs for correction over 1 to 2 years time.

I am looking for shoes for my son. In Russia we have a medical shoe which is common for this treatment but I cannot find in dunai. My 4 years old son has flat feet. Should I bring ilhom there to meet the doctor? Thank you very much, Christina

Dear Christina, Yes, we use corrective custom orthotics that can fit into most shoes so there is not much need for special shoes anymore and this is happy news for the child so that they do not stand-out from their friends by wearing medical shoes. Dear Moza, yes that is easy for us to do. When you buy her new school shoes bring her after the summer – just buy her normal shoe size as the orthotics that we make are very thin – less than 1mm thickness so no need to buy bigger shoes. Best wishes, Dubai Podiatry Centre

Dear Vevian, Thank you for your message. Orthotics cost from 700 DHS to 12,500 DHS for each pair and it depends on the problem. How I can know 100% if my son have a flatfeet or no ? He is a three years old and his mother think that he have a flatfeet … she noted that he feeling so tired after walking for a short time.. in additional of its so hard to see the normal curve in his foot.

I have an issue with both the legs flatfoot
Being using insoles for last 5 years its was ok .but last few days i have being suffering pain in my feet and hip and lower back so please let me know if there is some treatment or insole available.
