Medical Pedicure Dubai

Medical pedicures at the Dubai Podiatry Centre I carried out with our trained nurses. Machines similar to dental drills are used to remove all the hard skin second nails and reduce corns. All of this is the latest technology instead of using scalpels to remove callous the drills are used to remove the callous leaving a very fine and smooth soft skin finish. The drill used is a diamond head tungsten carbide drill which leaves the skin super smooth and soft which is faster and completely painless to traditional methods.

I have a very bad heel crack on my right heel. Can you treat this also in a medical pedicure? Cheers, Jim

Dear Jim, yes the heel crack can be addressed and cleaned and also your feet will be checked for a dry fungal infection as that is the most likely cause of a heel crack and very dry skin to the feet. Best wishes, Dubai Podiatry Centre

I want to remove the callus on my feet. I have so much under the front of my feet from my high arches but I think I need a blade because it is too thick. Can you do this also? Thanks Maria

Dear Maria, Yes the machine will remove all your callous completely. It is not like a manual foot file. It will take off as much skin as you like. Best wishes, Dubai Podiatry Centre

Dear Hamza, we are a foot clinic that sees men, women and children for all foot problems. Certainly you can have a medical pedicure and the Podiatric Nurse that will be making you medical pedicure will discuss something that can reduce and prevent the callous on your toes from playing football. Sometimes we suggest leaving the callous and hard skin in place as it acts as a natural protection of the living skin in response to friction from irregular movement of the foot. Here is a link to a tennis product that you can use for your toes to protect them instantly.

Hi , I have onychomycosis that is pestering me on both feet-nails since the last 2 years . I tried so many products , but all in vain . I stopped going to my regular pedicure salon because it is embarrassing , but the result is that my nails are not properly groomed any longer . Can you suggest what to do ?
    Thanks
    Jean

Dear Jean – it depends on what level of onycomycosis you have – is it superficial , in the nail plate or also in the root. You can take a photo and send it through WhatsApp to our clinic +971(0)503553024 for the Podiatrist to see and advise. Best wishes, Dubai Podiatry Centre
