Different kinds of Bunion

There are many different types of bunion which is shown in this diagram.

In this example we can see this bone is straight however on this other one we can see there is a bony lump that has grown on the side.

‎ في هذا المثال يمكننا رؤية هذه العظمة مستقيمة ولكن في هذا المثال الآخر يمكننا أن نرى أنّ هناك كتلة عظمية نمت على الجانب

 

 

 

 

On this other structure the bone is straight but the head is enlarged.

‎على هذا الهيكل الآخر، العظمة هنا مستقيمة لكن الرأس متضخم

 

 

 

 

Also, for this bunion the bone has twisted round.

‎كذلك بالنسبة لهذا التورم، العظمة هنا ملتوية

 

 

 

 

Here, the capsule that holds the joint together has swollen.

‎هنا ، تورّمت المحفظة التي تربط المفصل معًا

 

 

 

 

Lastly, on this one the joint has displaced and moved out to the side and this is the most common type of bunion we see in the clinic.

‎أخيرًا ، في هذه الحالة ، حُلَّ المفصل وانتقل إلى الجانب وهذا هو النوع الأكثر شيوعًا من التورم الذي نراه في العيادة

 

 

 

There are ones that require surgery and there are ones that don’t require surgery so it is important to find out which type of bunion you have.
