Different Widths of Shoes to Prevent a Corn on the 5th Toe

 

These are a selection of shoes from a patient and he has a problem with the small fifth toe as you can see here.

The shoes are too tight and creating a corn.

So we asked him to bring in all of his shoes and we made a sample insole that fitted perfectly inside the shoes to show him which shoes are the problem and which shoes are good for him.

We also asked him to bring in his work shoes and we discovered the work shoes have a problem as they are squeezing the fifth toe.

We discovered the Church’s brand has an F fitting shoe which is what he was wearing and a G fitting shoe. We sourced the G fitting work shoes instead for him.

Here is the difference between the F fitting and G fitting. The G fitting are much wider, and interesting fact they are called ‘the Dubai’s’.
