Big Toe Blister Caused by Ankle Misalignment

 

This small blood blister on the big toe is actually not caused by the shoe. It is caused by the ankle misalignment as the arch drops which moves the big toe joint, turning inwards, causing friction and pressure here.

Because the toe is now forcefully pressing against the shoe, causing these small blood blisters to break. The treatment is an insole inside the running shoes to maintain the alignment of the ankle.
